The Chris Reeve Large Sebenza 31 is 8.335" in overall length with a 3.625" blade made of CPM-SVN35 stainless steel, which was made by Crucible Industries specifically with Chris Reeve knives in mind using vanadium and niobium to create extremely tough and hard tool steel. The polished drop point blade is hollow ground for the best slicing profile with a stonewash finish for extra protection against corrosion. With a Rockwell hardness of 59-60, it is extremely hard and holds a razor-sharp edge, and endures all sorts of punishment cut after cut. This large Sebenza 31 has polished bog oak inlays on satin-finished titanium. The frame lock locking construction is incorporated into the blasted 6AI4V titanium handle and features a ceramic ball to reduce wear at points where steel and titanium meet, which provides secure locking and functionality. The off-set clip is an improvement over the Sebenza 21 as well, giving the user a more comfortable grip. The Sebenza 31 gives you the freedom to clean and lubricate the perforated bronze phosphor pivot washers or switching out thumb studs and spacers to customize your knife. You can easily field-strip the entire knife with an Allen wrench to make sure it is maintained properly.
