The 290BK Full Immunity incorporates a Wharncliffe blade crafted from Cobalt Black Cerakote finished CPM-M4; a robust American-made steel that has been valued in knifemaking due to its high carbon and vanadium composition. M4 steel is abrasion-resistant and incredibly hard steel with an HRC of 62-64, making it ideal for holding an edge cut after cut. At 2.49" in length and honed down from .09" thick blade stock, this unique blade shape excels at precision work due to its sharp point and deep profile for slicing. The angle of the point delivers a lot of force for puncturing power, with a wide blade and jimping along the back of the blade for control and leverage that works nicely in tactical applications.

When deployed, the overall length of the 290BK Full Immunity is 5.94" and folds down to just 3.46" and .5" thick, making it ideal for concealment. The Crater Blue 6061-T6 aluminum handle is diamond-patterned for a sure grip, with ergonomically-friendly contours for your fingers. Ambidextrous anodized thumb studs on the blade allow for easy opening, and Benchmade's signature AXIS lock mechanism keeps it locked in place when in use. A reversible mini deep-carry pocket clip allows for tip-up carry, for both right and left-handed users. A lanyard hole at the butt of the handle comes tied with a lanyard and machined bead.
