The 537SGY-1 Bailout is an everyday carry knife with a unique design, combined with the functional design you have come to expect from Benchmade. At 8.07" in overall length, this tanto style knife is crafted from CPM-M4 stainless steel. With a Rockwell hardness of 62-64 it is some of the hardest cutlery steel available, which operates well under stress and transverse flexing, resistance to marring and chipping, as well as keeping incredibly sharp cut after cut. The 3.38" long blade is honed down to a razor's edge from .09" thick blade stock and is gray coated for extra corrosion and impact resistance. Patrial serrations on the blade make cutting rope and a breeze.

The blade deploys with the help of ambidextrous thumb studs and locks into place with Benchmade's signature AXIS locking mechanism. The handle is made from 6061-TB anodized aluminum and features a deep-carry reversible clip as well as a glass breaker.
