White River Firecraft FC7 Survival Knife - Kydex Sheath

The White River Firecraft knife is built to last and hold a razor-sharp edge in tough survival situations. This high-quality survival knife is made in the USA with the finest workmanship from a small family company of master craftsmen.

The blade has a hollow grind and is finished with a fine stonewashed finish, perfect for hiding the inevitable scratches that come with use. Another feature of the steel is the fact that is produced using particle metallurgy process, the CPM stands for Crucible Particle Metallurgy, which yields an extremely even distribution of the carbides in the steel. CPM steel is cleaner and stronger and cuts more evenly than steel made with the cheaper standard process. The S35VN steel is heat-treated to a hardness rating of 59 HRC.

On top of the blade is a notch to use for striking a Ferro rod, aka fire stick, which is included with each knife and attaches to the sheath. The handle is 5" long making the full length of the White River Knife and Tool Firecraft knife 12". Each handle has a deep finger choil design which protects fingers when pressure is applied if using the knife for cutting. This knife will hold up to heavy batoning if you need to leverage it against larger tasks.

Every handle is designed with a polished stainless steel divot for use with a fire bow. The handle material on this knife is secured with stainless steel pins and is extremely comfortable in hand for heavy use. The canvas micarta was selected on this knife for its durability, traction, and impact resistance, you just can't go wrong with canvas micarta in almost any environment.

The sheath on this knife meets the quality of the knife, something to look for when selecting a fixed blade knife. It is custom molded Kydex, with a leather swivel mount and a steel ring so that you can move comfortably when this is attached to your belt or rig. The Ferro stick is mounted on the top of the sheath, making this a complete survival package.
