RMJ Tactical Ragnarok 14 - Explore More
The tomahawk is a design that is thousands-of-years in the making. From its humble origins as a tribal warfare implement, the design is as effective now as it ever was. With the modern design of the Ragnarok, RMJ Tactical has taken tactical tomahawks to the next level.
Born of a collaboration with Andrew Bawidamann of Bawidamann Blades in 2012, today's Ragnarok is a continuation of the mastery of that design. Created from 1075 high carbon steel with a singular piece design from edge to the butt of the full-tang haft, this 57-58 HRC rated steel is durable as well as hard enough to prevent chipping, yet allow you to maintain a razor-sharp edge in the field. It is finished with a very tactical tungsten gray cerakote finish to improve surface hardness, corrosion resistance, and to reduce glare during use.
The Ragnarok features 3D sculpted G10 scales available in Black, Hyena Brown, Explore More and Dirty Olive. G10 gives you a sure grip in just about any condition, wet or dry, and reduces weight for a better-balanced tool. The handle has ridges that provide a very secure grip and excellent traction.
The Ragnarok weighs in at 1lb 5.6 oz and is crafted from a piece of 14" long, .270" thick stock, which means it is light enough for ease of carry and use, yet heavy enough to give you the velocity you rely on when you are cutting through obstacles. The faceted back spike can be used to puncture anything from brick to steel drums, and the full-bearded cutting edge is extremely effective at chopping as well as enabling users more refined work with a decent cutting profile. The butt of the tomahawk functions as a prybar and lanyard holes allow for carry and tactical use with paracord. A molded kydex sheath features bottom eject deployment for a quick draw and M.O.C. straps give you the versatility to carry the Ragnarok however you see fit.
