Chris Reeve Knives - Large Sebenza 31 Black Canvas Micarta - MagnaCut
Chris Reeve Knives - Large Sebenza 31 Black Canvas Micarta - MagnaCut
The Chris Reeve Large Sebenza 31 made its debut at the BLADE show in June 2019 and since then it has been making some serious waves for knife enthusiasts and collectors alike. Previously, the Chris Reeve Sebenza 21 had been at the height of everyday carry knife design and craftsmanship, with materials and construction with almost no rival. Improved machining methods and equipment make the Sebenza 31 adhere to even higher tolerances than any of its predecessors. Signifying 31 years of Chris Reeve knives, the Sebenza 31 was an improvement on perfection.
The Chris Reeve Large Sebenza 31 is 8.335" in overall length with a 3.625" blade made of CPM MagnaCut stainless steel, which was forged by Crucible Industrie using vanadium and niobium to create extremely tough and hard tool steel. The drop point blade is hollow ground for the best slicing profile with a stonewash finish for extra protection against corrosion. With a Rockwell hardness of 63-64, it is extremely hard and holds a razor-sharp edge and endures all sorts of punishment cut after cut.
This large Sebenza 31 has black canvas micarta inlays. The frame lock locking device is incorporated into the blasted 6AI4V titanium handle and features a ceramic ball to reduce wear at points where steel and titanium meet, which provides secure locking and functionality. The off-set clip is an improvement over the Sebenza 21 as well, giving the user a more comfortable grip. The blasted titanium finish not only looks amazing, but it also feels good in the hand and reduces weight, even though the 31 has an ample grip with wider inlays than previous Sebenzas. The Sebenza 31 gives you the freedom to clean and lubricate the perforated bronze phosphor pivot washers or switching out thumb studs and spacers to customize your knife. You can easily field-strip the entire knife with an allen wrench to make sure it is maintained properly.

Product Reviews
This was my first international CRK purchase (from Australia) and everything went as well as one could have hoped for. Easy payment option, fast shipping without any delays/hassles, and the item arrived well packed in good order. Definitely will purchase again. Thanks. BTW, the Sebenza is great as it should be.
Satisfied with my purchase. Knife was packaged very well and it arrived fairly quick. I would definitely buy again. Thanks.
The knife is amazing, everything I was looking forward to and more (especially since they are often hard to track down but this was the exact model I was seeking). Shipping was super fast, reliable and safe. Overall 5/5 great first but definitely not last experience buying through KnifeArt.com!

This is my sixth and largest CRK, and it does not disappoint. Very smooth action, rock-solid lockup, perfectly inlaid black canvas micarta, and a large and wicked sharp hollow-ground drop-point blade. Super-fast service from Knifeart and packaging that makes the purchase experience feel special.
