The Sparrow is a fixed everyday carry blade designed for toughness and durability by RMJ tactical's right-hand man and heat treatment expert, Charles Taylor. At an overall length of 7", this full tang constructed blade is crafted from oversized 1/8" S45VN stainless steel stock with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60. The blade itself is additionally hardened with a sniper grey cerakote finish which not only adds to steel hardness, which prolongs the life of the edge but also enhances corrosion resistance as well. The 3.1" blade features a drop-point design with a long chisel grind cutting surface that keeps and maintains a razor-sharp edge. The thick blade stock allows for power in cutting and chopping, while the point is highly effective for detailed work and control when you need it.
At nearly 4", the 3D machined G-10 handle is a perfect fit for even large hands and won't slip in wet or dry conditions. The Sparrow is available in Black, Hyena Brown, or Dirty Olive. Tubed rivets along the handle can be used as lanyards in conjunction with paracord for some interesting carry configurations. From keeping your blade tethered to your wrist or lashing the handle to a pole for an improvised spear or another tool, the options are nearly endless! The Sparrow comes with a kydex scabbard with biothane belt loop.

Great little fixed-blade EDC, January 23, 2022RMJ Tactical Sparrow - Dirty OliveWhenever possible these days, I try to carry a fixed-blade knife as my EDC rather than a folder.
This fine blade from RMJ Tactical is perfect for that task: the 3-1/2" blade is legal to conceal in my home state, and the excellent sheath with included snap-on belt loops, and lots of holes to mount them in, gives you plenty of options for concealing it; while the rounded edges makes it comfortable to do so.
The ergo handle fits my small-to-medium hands well, the slight rear swell makes for a firm grip, and the integral guard prevents it from sliding forward.
The blade is pointy and razor sharp, while still reinforced all the way to the tip by the substantial spine.
All in all, one of the finest small self-defense blades out there, IMO.
And Knife Art's customer service is second to none.
Not cheap--- there are plenty of similar-sized knives you can get for a lot less--- but a great example of how you get what you pay for.
