Crafted from 80CrV2 stainless tool steel with a non-reflective Caswell black oxide finish, the Pathfinder is 9.75" in overall length. Designed by knife-making legend, Jason Knight, the 4.5" harpoon style blade is made to withstand punishment and keep a razor-sharp edge, honed down from .205" thick stock, and heat-treated to a Rockwell hardness of 59-60. With specialized file work on the back of the blade you will feel the advantage of added control when you need to do delicate cutting work or require additional leverage and strength.

With full tang construction, the steel runs through the entire length of the black micarta handle, providing you with durability and a comfortable grip. The swept in design and light ergonomics of the handle allow for comfort, cut after cut, use after use. A lanyard hole at the butt of the handle provide a variety of options for carry as well as other paracord applications in the field. Each Winkler Pathfinder comes with a black leather sheath, equipped with a spring steel belt clip that is even compatible with Molle tactical gear.
