Exclusive Matthew Martin Titanium GB Click Pen
Exclusive Matthew Martin Titanium GB Click Pen
The exclusive GB (Gun Barrel) click pen provides a discreet way to carry a tough pen that offers both form and function. Matthew Martin has a knack for executing a precision instrument of the highest fit and finish.
The GB Click provides several key features:
- Enhanced hand grip when in your palm - due to the flared end
- Weight reduced design - due to the 'gun barrel' style machined groves
- Reinforced barrel - due to the increased design thickness
- Superior writing traction - due the flared writing section that you grasp with your fingers
- Thicker impact tip - due to the increased ti stock thickness at the tip
The GB click pen is constructed from aerospace grade titanium and is completed with a 6Al4V titanium clip. Titanium provides an extremely robust material while keeping the weight to a minimum. The GB gun barrel pen is 5 1/8" long. The GB weighs in a 1.1 oz (34 grams) as compared to the 1.0 oz (30 grams) of the standard 375 series titanium click. The GB click thickness is around .420" which is larger than MCM 375 series at .375".
The GB pen is perfectly sized and at the same time offers an amazing firm grip in case you are in a close-quarters situation in which you need to protect yourself. The gun barrel style grooves down the body of the pen reduce weight while at the same time provide a positive grip. The pen took a considerable amount of machine time to create and is make of three separate parts.
The use of CNC and CAD_CAM technology that is state of the art to design and manufacture these pens. This titanium pen is of outstanding quality that you would expected of any MCM item.

Product Reviews
I was looking for a strong Titanium pen to carry everywhere and while searching through Knife Art I saw this Matthew Martin GB titanium pen. The photos of this pen looked really good, so nice in fact that I was thinking I would not want to damage it by carrying it around with me. In any case I really liked the way it looked and I figured that since most of it is made out of titanium it should hold up to my every day carry. I purchased the pen which arrived quickly and I was extremely happy with the pen. It looks great and probably even better than in the photos. The pen has really nice curves and the grip area is perfect. It comes with O rings if you want to add them to the grip area but it feels nice without them. I think the O rings are a little thick to be honest but looking for thinner ones shouldn't be an issue. The click mechanism is nice and smooth but make sure that it's working properly. This pen uses a Schmidt click mechanism and should be smooth without getting stuck. At times these mechanisms get stuck on every other click and that should not be the case. The good thing is that Knife Art does a great job taking care of its customers and so does Matthew Martin if you have any concerns. I have several other pens but I have to say that this has become my new favorite. If your' looking for a nice and strong titanium pen then I would highly recommend you give this one a try.

I have two other Matthew Martin click pens (C375Ti & C400TiCF) purchased from Knifeart. While these two pens are great, the Titanium GB pen is a much better pen. The Titanium GB pen is heavier, wider and has better grip rings. I would recommend the Titanium GB pens over other Matthew Martin click pens (not to say that his other click pens are bad--I just think this pen is designed better).
This is my 6th order from Knifeart and their customer service had always been superb!
Light weight, perfect size, feels great in your hand. I would buy again and recommend to a friend.
I have numerous pens including several made by Matthew Martin. This is definitely one of my favorite Martin pens. I'd buy it again!
