Are you of the mind that KnifeArt only represents a one-stop website where you could find the best knives from top knife making brands that span the globe? While that much is certainly true, it does not tell the entire story. Not anymore. Now KnifeArt presents its own KnifeArt.com line of cutting-edge knife designs from the enthusiastic and meticulous knife making minds of the Connelley brothers, Larry and Rodney. They founded KnifeArt back in 1998 and also come up with their own innovative designs with their own logo on the knives. Knife Art knives use the same great materials and construction as many of our fine knives from other leading brands, but use Larry and Rodney's own unique ideas about what makes for good EDC and tactical cutlery. 
Fixed Blade Knives
One of KnifeArt.com's own worthwhile blade designs is the KnifeArt.com Extreme Field Knife with a 4-inch fixed blade, made in Arkansas. The blade is made of semi-stainless D2 steel with an RC hardness 59-60 that is 5mm thick and a green canvas micarta handle that is contoured for a good grip and includes a lanyard hole for added convenience and three large bolts to secure the contoured handle. This knife will hold an edge for a good long time even with heavy use. Also included is a Concealex Heavy Duty Kydex Sheath with a belt loop.
If you spend a lot of time outdoors or need a knife more geared towards tactical use, the KnifeArt.com Quick Draw Fixed Blade Knife has a 3.25-inch D2 carbon steel blade ideal for this type of heavy-use knife. D2 has a steel composition of 1.5% Carbon, 1% Molybdenum, 12% Chrome, and 1% Vanadium. This helps the blade hold an edge even through heavy and hard use for an uncommonly long time. The knife, whose blade has an RC hardness of 59-60, also has a contoured black micarta handle with a lanyard hole.
