The All Purpose has 4 3/4" blade of D2 carbon steel. D2 is a well respected tool steel that is used on many heavy-use knives. D2 steel has long been used on custom knives because of its unique steel composition (with 1.5% Carbon, 1% Molybdenum, 12% Chrome, and 1% Vanadium). This composition lends itself excellent edge holding abilities and its semi-stainless maintenance.
The fixed blade knife has a contoured micarta handle as well as a lanyard hole in the handle. Index finger guard is integral to the tang. Deep hollow ground blade. Highest quality black kydex sheath with belt loop, designed for vertical carry, finishes off the package. This knife is perfect for tactical carry, camping and hunting. For KnifeArt.com All Purpose Fixed Blade - Ranger Green. In my previous review, I complained about an asymmetry in the grind front of the choil. That perceived asymmetry was due to directional lighting. In proper light, there is no asymmetry. The knife is perfect. Sorry if I negatively affected anyone with this error.

It is well finished and well ground, with one exception. It fills the hand nicely, with good balance, and appreciable heft. It appears to be perfectly made from either side and the top. Viewed from the bottom, the rear ends of the main bevels in front of the micaso aren't symmetric, a visible and unacceptable flaw for a knife of this price. No effect on function. It is very similar in shape to a knife offered by Dozier at $235 (with a years long lead time), also using D2, 3/16" thickness, etc. I'll keep it, because its beautiful lines and fine feel outweigh the cosmetic blemish.

This knife is suitable for hunting/camping and all other uses up to and including survival/defense. The blade is nearly 1/4" thick and the full tang handle is very comfortable. Well done KnifeArt!

Only issue is that the two plunge lines in front of the choil aren't mirrored - one is not only visually noticeable, but tactilly, too. However, this should have no real affect on usability.
Fine knife for the price point.

Recently received my "All Purpose" Knife-Art knife and it is fantastic! Straight out of the package it is clear this is a custom-quality knife all the way. The fit and finish are top-notch - the handle/scales mate perfectly at all points. This is one of those knives that just fits "right" in the hand from the first time it is handled. I was a bit concerned about purchasing without having handled the knife first - but all those concerns were for naught. The knife has a very solid, substantial feel without being overly heavy, and is balanced very nicely. The blade is ideally sharp, the grind totally even and the contours remind me somewhat of a Buck-110 on steroids!
I think the name of this knife is right on the mark. I can indeed see this being an all-purpose blade for my uses, and can't imagine much it will not be able to do.
I am very pleased and would highly recommend this knife to anyone seeking a high-quality, well thought-out blade for a fair price!
